Richard Wyss, Ph.D., M.Sc.Richard Wyss, PhD, MSc, is an Instructor in Medicine in the Division of Pharmacoepidemiology and Pharmacoeconomics at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School. His research focuses on the development of analytic methods for causal inference and their application to healthcare databases for evaluating the comparative effectiveness and safety of pharmaceutical drugs during the early periods of post-market surveillance. He received his doctorate in epidemiology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his Bachelors and Masters of Science in statistics from Brigham Young University.
